Other Seminars:

The next Job Ready webinar to help international students gain career starts in SA will be held at the end of Semester 2 in early December.  This will be advertised here.

In the meantime if any international student would like one-on-one help, either to get a career start or a part-time job, they can contact  Euan Miller directly euan@gdaysa.com.au and he will make arrangements to meet with them.  This first consultation is free of charge.  Is also available to partners of international students, again free of charge.

If students wish to volunteer to improve their customer service skills, g’day[sa]  can offer placements at Bunnings BBQs on weekdays for 2-3 hours/month.
Bunnings is the premier hardware chain in Australia, and these placements are at the Mile End store, the largest and busiest in SA.

Students will have extensive customer contact through serving sausages and chilled soft drinks as well as taking payments. Morning lunchtime and afternoon shifts are offered and you will be working with Rotarians who are local business and community leaders with extensive networks, useful for gaining jobs.
